Resume Development

The resume is not merely a job description or a list of duties and responsibilities. It is advertising copy that conveys a person’s features and benefits that meet a particular employer’s needs. Therefore, “one resume fits all” is not consistent with accepted advertising, marketing, or sales principles. Clients learn to write resumes that will make a positive impact on the reader. In addition to learning to write effective advertising copy (i.e., content), clients learn about the variety of effective resume styles and formats to use in getting the desired result (i.e., to get the interview).
